Marco Rotary Noontime Welcomes Krystal Yoder

The Rotary Club of Marco Island Noontime welcomes our newest member, Krystal Yoder.

Krystal was born and raised in a small town in Michigan. Growing up, she discovered her talent for secretarial work and was entered into a national typing contest for her skills. She could do shorthand faster than her teacher could talk!

Krystal furthered that interest in computer classes at a local college. She helped her ex-husband expand his lumber business which grew into manufacturing, a retail store, log cabins, and contracting. Her computer skills were invaluable in the growth of the business. They sold the company in 2006.

Soon after, Krystal discovered Marco Island, and it was love at first sight! After visiting from 2008 to 2014, she made the move and purchased her home. Krystal stated, “Everything was perfect except I needed to find a purpose here.” Then along came Rotarian Jill Sandberg, who invited Krystal to volunteer with Rotary’s hugely successful “Flags for Heroes” event this past February. Krystal dove in with both feet, volunteering for everything…and the rest is history.

We invited Krystal to join the club, and she was just inducted at our club meeting on March 19. Clearly, Krystal has found her purpose with our Rotary “Service Above Self” motto. Rotary welcomes Krystal Yoder.
