The 75th Annual East Naples Civic& CommerceAssociation(ENC&C)Dinner Banquet was held at thebrand-newGreat Wolf Lodge in Naples on Thursday,January 16. Members and guests alike enjoyed a cocktail hour and entertainment from Dave Dunn Music. Asilentauction kept the competition friendly as attendees laughed while outbidding one another.
Once the dinner began, current President Pat Sherry addressed and welcomed the crowd that included Collier County’s Supervisor of Elections, Mellissa Blazier, Clerk of The Circuit Court and Comptroller, CrystalK.Kinzel, and husband and wife duo Vincent and Diann Keeys, respectively President and FSC Area Director for the NAACP.
A highlight of the evening was when longtime member and Director Donna Fiala was presented with her very own pair of ‘WolfpackEars’from GeneralManagerJason and Sales Manager Fatima of The Great Wolf Lodge for her longtime service to the community. The Wolf Ears featured the unique to Naple’s location Alligator, and Donna was all smiles as she wore them proudly.
Secretary George Danz delivered anend-of-yearsummary of the work completed byENC&Cthat included scholarships for highschool-agechildren, the Santa Run, and developing and proposing an East Naples Community master plan for the corner of US 41 to encourage more appeasing construction and development.
“We will continue to do these things, and we also need your help to identify issues that we as an organization should be involved in but are not. Most of all, continue your membership and encourage your friends and business to do so also. Together we can accomplish our vision: to build a more vibrant and active East Naples.”
