For the Love of Cats 2026 Purr Ball

For the Love of Cats will host its signature annual fundraising gala, The Purr Ball: A Cosmic Night for a Cause, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club.

The organization’s largest fundraiser of the year comes at a time when the need for feline rescue and veterinary assistance across Collier County continues to grow. With an estimated 50,000 community cats living throughout the county, For the Love of Cats is working to meet increasing demand for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), kitten rescue and foster care, and urgent veterinary assistance for cats whose families may otherwise be unable to afford lifesaving treatment.

“The compassion in our community has changed the future for thousands of cats, but there is still so much work ahead of us,” said Jan Rich, Founder and President of For the Love of Cats. “The Purr Ball brings together people who believe, as we do, that cats deserve to live healthy, safe, and loved lives. The generosity of our guests directly fuels the work it takes to make that vision a reality throughout Collier County.”

Guests will enjoy an elegant evening overlooking Naples Bay featuring a gourmet seated dinner, open bar, live entertainment, dancing under the stars, an extraordinary collection of live and silent auction experiences and a luxury raffle. This year’s celestial-inspired theme, A Cosmic Night for a Cause, reflects the shared vision of creating a brighter future for cats throughout Southwest Florida.

Among this year’s auction highlights are a European river cruise for two with AmaWaterways, private fishing and boating experiences, luxury hotel stays, fine jewelry, exclusive dining experiences and a private in-home chef’s dinner.

Even those unable to attend can take part in the evening’s impact. Supporters will have opportunities to participate in the silent auction and luxury raffle, helping turn their love for animals into veterinary care, rescue, spay and neuter services, food, foster support and second chances for cats throughout the community.

Tickets, sponsorship opportunities, auction and raffle, and additional event information are available through For the Love of Cats or the dedicated Purr Ball website: https://purrball2026.givesmart.com.
