For the Love of Cats is proud to announce the incredible success of its annual Purr Ball Gala to support lifesaving programs for cats and kittens in need across Collier County.

Held at the Marco Island Yacht Club on Saturday, November 8, this year’s Purr Ball brought together more than 140 generous animal lovers, community partners, sponsors, and volunteers for an unforgettable evening of compassion, celebration, and purpose. Guests enjoyed gourmet dining, bespoke silent and live auctions, Broadway-caliber performances, and touching moments that highlighted the mission of For the Love of Cats: to rescue, protect, and save abandoned, sick, abused, and homeless cats in Naples and Marco Island.

“This year’s Purr Ball was a moving testament to the extraordinary power of compassion,” said Jan Rich, Founder and President of For the Love of Cats. “Together, our community has created a wave of kindness that will touch the lives of thousands of cats - giving them not only the medical care they need, but the love, safety, and hope they deserve.”

From moving rescue stories to spirited bidding on once-in-a-lifetime experiences, guests were united by their shared commitment to give hope to cats and create a better future for the cat population of Southwest Florida.

For the Love of Cats extends heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors, donors, and attendees who made this year’s gala a resounding success. Their generosity ensures that the organization can continue to provide critical medical care, spay/neuter programs, food assistance, and foster services for cats in need.
