DJ Grandmaison Joins Sunrise Rotary

Marco Island Rotary Club Sunrise is excited to announce Donald J. Grandmaison, known as DJ by most, has become its newest member. DJ became familiar with Sunrise Rotary through his work as Vice President of Operations for Meals of Hope.

DJ started his career in the farming and agricultural business in New Hampshire. His experience in farming helped him succeed as he moved into consulting and marketing for other farmers. DJ became quite good at building teams of farmers, suppliers, and processors, including time as Sales and Marketing Manager for Lef Farms, a hydroponic grower with products in major national retailers and restaurants.

Tired of cold winters, DJ and his family moved to Florida in 2022 and he became Director of Operations for Green Life Farms in Punta Gorda. He started working for Meals of Hope in 2024 and opened his eyes to the joy of full-time work on helping others.

DJ’s decision to join Sunrise Rotary is an extension of his desire to help others and serve his community. After research and considering options, he decided that Sunrise Rotary offered the best opportunity to “give back.”

In DJ’s words, “My family is the center of my life and inspires the values I bring to everything I do. I am excited to be part of Sunrise Rotary because it allows me to work on projects to make a lasting difference in our community.” Sunrise Rotary members welcomed DJ warmly.

Sunrise Rotary meets on Tuesdays at 7:15 AM at Stonewalls Restaurant, 551 S. Collier Blvd., Marco Island, Florida.
