The Rotary Club of Marco Island Noontime is delighted to welcome Dianne Hamberg as our newest member. We are also excited to announce Dianne as our 50th member, an exciting accomplishment, as the more great members we have the more good we can do in the community and the world. A big thank you to member, Ben Ramsey, for introducing Dianne to our club.
Born in Massachusetts, at age two, Dianne moved to Georgia where she grew up and attended the University of Georgia. She then relocated to California, Maryland, and finally, Collier County where she has resided for 25 years. Dianne loves the water and beaches here and cooking and gardening are her hobbies. She has been married to husband Robert for 35 years.
Although Dianne is new to Marco Island as Branch Header III and Vice President of Truist, she has over 30 years of banking experience and leadership and has been with Truist for 23 years.
Dianne is also passionate about giving back to the community with over 25 years of community involvement in Naples. She served on the board of the Parkinson Association of SW Florida, Hodges Board of Trustees, volunteer with the Cancer Alliance of Naples as well as projects benefitting Laces of Love, Naples Equestrian Challenge, MS Society PASFI, Immokalee Middle School and Boys and Girls Clubs. Being new to Marco Island, Dianne is anxious to connect with the community and believes our Rotary Club is a great avenue for making like-minded friends and getting involved with community service.
Dianne clearly lives the Rotary Motto, “Service Above Self,” and the club is thrilled to welcome her into their Rotary Family. “Welcome Aboard, Dianne!”
