Bruce Todd of Sunset Melodies Group presents a check for $2,500 to Marco Island Dance Academy Director Kristin Utecht-Croscenco for scholarships for financially disadvantaged students. Made at the recent “So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience” concert held at Veterans Community Park. The donation was made by Sunset Melodies concert series food and beverage sponsor Joey's Pizza and Pasta House and the La Mesa Taqueria in the name of the Victoria Strauss Foundation. The organization honors the legacy of the late dancer, Victoria Strauss. It’s dedicated to inspiring and empowering young women to live life to the fullest and to find inspiration through dance, education, and positive health and mental wellness.
"Thank you, Marco Island, for the support for our first season and know that the give back benefit was because of your support," said Marcia Griffin, who is Sunshine Melodies’ executive producer.
