Cheers to Meals of Hope at Mango’s

Complimentary appetizers and live music by Lance Shearer set the stage for an enjoyable evening at Mango’s Dockside, held recently as friends and supporters gathered for the third Meals of Hope fundraiser of the summer. Meals of Hope extends our thanks to Cristian Nicula, Peter St. Germain and the staff for their generosity and support each year. Members of the Kiwanis Club, Noontime Rotary and Sunrise Rotary were among the many supporters who welcomed the guests.

A 50/50 drawing is always a highlight of the evening, and this month’s lucky winner was Deb Henry, who generously gave back her winnings to the cause. Two other lucky attendees went home with gift cards donated by Mango’s.

These monthly Happy Hours of Hope combine fun and fellowship with an important mission- helping raise funds to help those facing hunger in Collier County. The support of our community is crucial to the success of Meals of Hope, helping us purchase the food materials needed for the annual packaging event on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Marco Island Charter Middle School.

Meals of Hope Marco Island is supported by donations and by Friends of Hope, a group of generous individuals and businesses who have made financial contributions to the cause.

We thank our 2026 Friends of Hope: Tom Mann-All Event Party Rental, Erik Condee-Condee Cooling and Electric, The Carvelli Group, Pam Shniper, Jim and Allyson Richards, John McGonigle, Barbara Kaumann, The Sandlin Team, Megan A.
