Cecil Barker Receives Lions Club Award

The Everglades Lions Club recognized its immediate past president, Cecil Barker, with an engraved award on October 9th. Lion Vicky Wells, a longtime member and past club president, presented the award. She mentioned Cecil’s many achievements during his six year tenure, including his famous barbecued chicken among many other menus he has served to the Everglades Community. We surely are a better community for all his efforts on behalf of the Everglades Lions Club. Thank you, Lion President Cecil Barker, 2019-2025. We won’t forget your famous chicken!
