Calusa Garden Club Plant and Floral Design Sale November 22

On Saturday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Calusa Garden Club of Marco Island will hold its fifth annual Plant and Floral Design Sale with Family Activities. The sale is at Marco Lutheran Church, 525 N. Collier Boulevard, Marco Island.

The plants include gorgeous staghorn ferns, bromeliads, and butterfly host plants. And as in past years, the club will sell many types of decorative tropical plants like crinum lilies, bromeliads, and orange birds of paradise. Our orchid offerings will be those grown by renowned orchid grower Charlette Roman.

The floral designs for sale on November 22 will be fall-themed and a beautiful addition to one’s home.  And for the first time this year, the sale will include family activities for children and their parents. Families or other attendees can make seed bombs, make terrariums or purchase terrarium kits, and enjoy educational handouts for children.

Calusa Garden Club of Marco Island meets the second Monday of each month, October, November, and January through April at Rose Hall at the Marco Island Branch Library.  If you are interested in membership, contact the Garden Club at calusagardenclubcommunication@gmail.com.  For updates and information, and to donate, visit the Garden Club’s website, calusa.org, or visit the Club’s Facebook page Calusa Garden Club.
