BINGO Fundraiser for MIA Science National Honor Society

On Wednesday, February 4th, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Marco Island Academy’s (MIA) Science National Honor Society (SNHS) will be hosting a BINGO event on their campus to raise funds for our upcoming physics field trip. This biannual trip provides students with the unique opportunity to participate in the Physics of Disney Parks educational workshop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The workshop focuses on motion, forces, energy, electricity, and magnetism as applied to major Disney attractions and directly correlates with the content of Mr. Swope’s physics class. Between ticketing and transportation, the one-day trip totals over $8,000. The BINGO Night has a goal of helping to keep the out-of-pocket cost for students as low as possible. You can help by attending our upcoming BINGO fundraiser, through business donations of gift cards or gift baskets for prizes at the fundraiser, or through tax-deductible donations made out to Marco Island Academy with “Disney Physics” in the memo. We hope to see you there!
