Aloha with Love

The San Marco Council of Catholic Women hosted two joyful fashion shows on January 27 and 28 at the San Marco Catholic Parish Hall, celebrating style, community, and generosity under the theme “Aloha with Love.”

The daytime fashion show welcomed a near-capacity crowd of 300 guests—298 women and two men—for an afternoon filled with color, creativity, and island spirit. Models showcased stunning apparel from Kay’s on the Beach, Rosa’s, Coton Frais, and Patchington. The Parish Hall was transformed into a Hawaiian island getaway, complete with tropical décor, a surf shack, and the gentle sounds of a live ukulele player, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

The celebration continued in the evening with a co-ed fashion show attended by approximately 210 guests, closely split between men and women. Evening fashions from Curated Crab, Island Trends, and Beach Daisy featured relaxed island elegance with broad appeal. Laughter, applause, and island vibes filled the room as guests enjoyed a night of fun and fellowship.

Proceeds from both events directly support the Council’s mission, including Catholic high school scholarships, college and trade school assistance for local engaged students, and vital community charities such as the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Our Daily Bread Food Pantry, and many other island organizations serving those in need.

Beyond the fashion and festivities, the event’s message resonated deeply Aloha is more than a greeting—it is a way of being, rooted in love, compassion, mutual respect, and living in harmony with one another and the land we share. Those values were felt throughout both events, leaving attendees with happy hearts and a renewed appreciation for community spirit.

By every measure, Aloha with Love was a beautiful success—bringing people together for a meaningful cause and reminding all in attendance that when a community comes together, wonderful things happen.
