Joseph Albert Kozimor

 

Joseph Albert Kozimor, 74 of Marco Island, Florida passed away August 16, 2021. After fighting many health battles, he succumbed to cancer peacefully at home with his loving wife of 54 years by his side. Joe was born in Woonsocket, RI to Adam and Valeria (Paskanic) Kozimor. He is predeceased by his sister Constance A. Gardner.

After graduating from Bellingham High School, he went into the family business where he used his construction skills to manufacture truck bodies for the greater New England area. Joe retired and moved to Marco Island in 1999. He enjoyed the warm weather and peacefulness that Marco Island brought. In recent years Joe became an Uber driver and enjoyed meeting many new people.

Joe will be forever cherished and missed by his wife Lorraine, son Jon and Gina Kozimor and grandchildren Jake and Sam Kozimor. Joe also leaves behind a niece, several nephews, and his mother-in-law Georgette Calascibetta. Private family services will be held.

 Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
