On the early morning of Election Day, the sun, Earth and Moon formed what is termed a “powerful cosmic trifecta” known as a beaver blood moon lunar eclipse.

Earlier civilizations have always given powers to the moon causing death and destruction over the land.  Though we no longer believe in those powers, still the Moon has great influence over the Earth’s tides. The Sun does the same, “pulling” the ocean back and forth as it rolls around the planet. When the Moon and Sun are in alignment with each other, their gravitational effects create higher tides. So, what will this cosmic trifecta event portend?

Thanks to photographer Jim Robellard for sharing this photo of the Beaver Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse over Marco’s South Beach taken around 5:39 AM.
