Marco Island Boxing Club: NJ vs. Ireland
For live boxing action go to the Palms Ballroom, Marco Island Marriott (400 S. Collier Blvd.). Doors open at 6 PM, the first bout is at 7 PM. Five bouts between NJ and Ireland for the Frank Gervin Memorial Belt. Local boxers ages 10-19 will also compete. Eleven bouts scheduled. Refreshments and snacks available for purchase. Meals of Hope Packaging Event
Start your day helping others and give back to the community. The annual packaging event will take place from 8:30-10:30 AM at the Marco Island Charter Middle School (1401 Trinidad Ave.). Five hundred volunteers are needed to package meals to help feed thousands of hungry people in our community. For more information go to www.mohmi.org.
Yacht Club Fall Sailing Regatta
Two dozen sailboats will compete in the Marco Island Yacht Club’s Annual Fall Regatta. Racing between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. The regatta is hosted by the Marco Island Yacht Club, with support from Marco’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Marco Island Marina Association. Proceeds go to the Community Sailing Center Youth Sailing Program. The Marriott invites residents to watch on its beach, with all-day parking in its lot on the east side of Collier Boulevard for $5. Kiwanis Fun Run Family 5K
