Walmart Checkout

Be prepared. The Walmart on Collier is shifting to 100% self-checkout kiosks. The normal lanes with live cashiers are being eliminated. I recommend flagging down a customer service representative monitoring the self-check kiosks and having them scan and bag your cart for you. I did that last night and will continue to do so. Jobs are being lost to the benefit of Walmart’s bottom line. What’s next? Paid parking, a store entry fee? Enough already—let’s get the checkout belts going again and provide jobs for people!
