Freedom Waters Foundation (FWF), in partnership with Tigertail Beach Paddleboard and Kayaks will host a morning out on the water for Veterans of all ages, offering camaraderie and a safe, fun environment to interact with civilians. Everyone will be meeting on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Tigertail beach on Marco Island, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
Freedom Waters Foundation’s mission is: Enhancing lives by providing boating opportunities and marine related activities for people with disabilities, life threatening illnesses, youth at risk, others with special needs, and Veterans.
Tigertail Beach Paddleboard and Kayaks is providing the use of their equipment and Freedom Waters Foundation will provide lunch for the Veterans attending. Tony Smith, proprietor, said, “Any vet is welcome to come this Saturday to enjoy the company of other veterans. There will be no charge because I think they’ve already paid. These veterans are our true heroes!”
