Columnist Randall Kenneth Jones will be at the Marco Island Center for the Arts as part of its 2014-15 “Up Close and Personal” Series on Thursday, Jan. 8, 5:30-6:30 PM.
A virtual “love letter” to his adopted Naples hometown, Jones’ engaging presentation promises to blend humor and thought-provoking insight with unexpected surprises gleaned from his column, “Business Class.” The column is an exploration of positive business principles selected from interviews with high-level executives, business leaders and business-savvy celebrities including Barbara Corcoran (ABC’s Shark Tank), Erin Brockovich (Consumer Advocate), Jack Hanna (wildlife superstar), Phil Beuth (former President of Good Morning America), Sonny Jurgensen (NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback), Peter Thomas (broadcast royalty), Bob Emfield (co-founder, Tommy Bahama), Peggy Post (Co-Director, The Emily Post Institute), Shirley Jones (Oscar-winning actress), Janet Evanovich (New York Times Bestselling Author) and many more.
A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Jones is the president of MindZoo, a marketing and PR firm in Naples. His portfolio includes work performed for such household-name clients as TJMaxx, Walgreen’s, Carter’s, GEICO, The Washington Post, Tribune Publishing and more. He is also beginning is second two-year term as Vice President of the Naples Press Club.
