On Sunday, May 20th, residents of Goodland were treated to a roaring entrance of over 200 motorcycles. Arriving from the Naples American Legion, Post 135, the bikers were on a Freedom Ride, benefitting Fisher House. “A

 

 

home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers, Fisher House has served over 17,000 military families since it began in 1990.

asked if anyone wanted to go for a bike ride and everybody said yes.” Bikes came in all shapes and sizes, many decked out in military garb and American pride. As each biker and passenger made a donation
 

 

towards the Freedom Ride, Fisher House should be expecting a rather large check from the Naples American Legion, Post 135.
