Our Daily Bread, the food pantry located at the Family Church on Marco Island and For the Love of Cats, the no-kill rescue on Marco Island, have collaborated on a food drive for low income families. Representatives of both organizations will be at the Publix grocery store, 1089 N. Collier Blvd. in the Town Center on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10 AM to 3 PM collecting food, supplies and pet food for over 100 local families in need.

For the Love of Cats will also be collecting canned and dry cat food and cat litter for several low income families in the Naples area along with collecting food to feed almost 100 feral cats in registered colonies in East Naples, Marco Island and surrounding communities on a daily basis.

Each group will have a list of food and supply needs that shoppers can take into the store. Publix has brought in extra stock of the items on these lists to insure availability. All donated goods are tax deductible.
