Six members of the Marco Island Boy Scout Troop 234 spent a week at Camp La-No-Che in Paisley, Florida, one of the premier Boy Scout camps in the state of Florida. The scouts and two adult leaders joined about 200 scouts from across the state and one troop from Philadelphia, for a week of tent camping and adventures.
The boys worked toward merit badges and earned electives in everything from Citizenship, First Aid and Swimming to Rifle Shooting, Photography and Rock Climbing. Two members of the troop participated in a flag ceremony for the camp and the troop also won an award for “Cleanest Campsite of the East.”
