Once a month, from January to March, the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve holds their Amazing Adventures Lecture Series. The program is narrated by local naturalists, researchers and explorers. These audiovisual presentations provide participants with destination ideas, histories, as well as travel insights and tips.
Carl Kelly, local naturalist, as well as Rookery Bay volunteer, kicked off the series earlier this month with a presentation on his experience on a South African safari. Carl, along with his wife Joan, being the adventurous duo that they are, decided to go on the five-day

For Friends of Rookery Bay members admission is $10, non-members $15. Beverages are provided. For more information go to www.rookerybay.org.
