The Immokalee Foundation board of directors announced the appointment of Steven E. Kissinger as executive director.
Kissinger has 15 years of experience working with local nonprofits that are focused on children, most recently as chief financial officer of Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County.
“We are pleased that Steven has accepted this leadership position with TIF,” said Joe Zednik, TIF’s chairman. “His strong financial and management experience, and community involvement make Steven the ideal choice for leading our organization into the future.”
Kissinger is an alumnus of Leadership Collier (2005) and Bonita Springs (2010), and is a board member of Bonita Springs Assistance Office as well as Crew Land Water & Trust. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
“Steven’s nonprofit leadership combined with his understanding of the community and the children in need in Immokalee will serve to successfully take The Immokalee Foundation to the next level,” added Zednik.
