The George DeMarco Foundation Celebrates 10 years and $100,000

The George DeMarco Foundation celebrates over ten years and $100,000 in donations. Initially created to provide proceeds as charitable contributions with a principal focus on the needs of construction academies, the Foundation has expanded to include other endeavors benefiting the children in Collier County.

The Foundation has committed over a decade to improving the lives of the young people in Collier County through hosting golf tournaments, Key West vacation raffles, and poker tournaments.

With the leadership of a strong board, the Foundation has placed money with ABLE Academy, Step By Step and the construction academies at Lely High School, Palmetto Ridge High School, and Immokalee High School.

Board President Fitzgerald Frater fervently believes in assisting and enabling positive life changing opportunities to some of the most challenge young people. “We thank all those who have made it possible and look forward to the next ten years with an even stronger commitment to continue helping.”

In the immediate future, the Foundation will hold the annual Key West Vacation Raffle. The raffle winner receives a 3-day/2-night stay at the DoubleTree Grand Key Resort in Key West. Tickets are limited (only 600 tickets are available), are $25 each or 5 for $100, and can be purchased by calling the office or asking a board member.

The board consists of President Fitzgerald Frater, VP Loretta De Marco, Treasurer Carla Belanger, Secretary Maria De Marco, Dennis DiGiacomo, Jamie French, Adam Morgenstern, Annamaria Seward, and Preston Seward.
