Success for the CurePSP Memorial Walk

B7-CBN-4-3-15-23The 11th Annual CurePSP Awareness and Memorial Walk was held at Mackle Park on March 14th and was sponsored by the Southwest Florida PSP Support Group. It was a picture perfect day for joining together to support fundraising efforts for research into finding a cure for the rare neuro-degenerative diseases-Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) and Multiple System

 

 

Atrophy (MSA). It was a phenomenal event attended by the largest number participants ever experienced.

It is projected the Walk raised $34,000.00. The success was due in part to Cindy MacDonald (facilitator of the support group and chairperson for the walk), Mitch Kanefsky (co-facilitator), the members of the support group who selflessly devoted their time and energy, and CurePSP’s guidance. Volunteers worked selflessly in the planning and running of the event, and the community

 

 

offered warm support for a great cause. CurePSP President Dave Kemp and CurePSP VP of Development and Donor Relations, Kathy Speca, offered their support by attending the event and manning the information booth.B7-CBN-4-3-15-24
