Rev. Jessica Babcock and Jo Anne Lundquist hit the garage door button to open the storage facility for the first time.

Our Daily Bread Food Pantry recently annexed the front half of the St. Mark’s storage facility. Doug Eichten, the St. Mark’s Food Ministry Coordinator, announced Our Daily Bread will use it for additional food storage adding to their existing location on Winterberry DriveBecause of the tremendous demand for donated food due to recent global unprecedented times, the Food Pantry was entirely out of space at their building on Winterberry Drive

The first load of food that was delivered on Tuesday, September 1st, will be used in case of an emergency. St. Mark’s replaced an old window air conditioner and had the other large air conditioner inspected and serviced. Food Pantry volunteer staff will be the only individuals permitted to enter the front half of the Storage FacilityThe volunteer leadership of the Food Pantry is thrilled with St. Mark’s donation of the storage space.

We want to thank everyone who made this generous contribution possible: Rev. Jessica Babcock, Rev. Kathy Schillreff, Doug Eichten, Cathy Weis, Mike and Cheryl Mueller, Elaine Cole, Tom Weis, Wendy Happney, Bob Brown, St. Mark’s Vestry and others who we may have missed.
