Beautiful Marco Island serves as the setting for this February 6, 2013 event with up to twenty local artists capturing the essence of our island community while painting from any of several picturesque island (or nearby) locations with spectacular views of Marco Island. After completing their original paintings during the day, artists will bring their pieces to the Marco Island Historical Museum – Rose History Auditorium for display beginning at 5:30 pm, with the exciting live auction starting promptly at 7:00 pm hosted by Chris Lombardo.
As a business sponsor, your $50 sponsorship will include:
Your company’s name on all newspaper and printed materials
Ability to purchase two $35 auction tickets for $30 each
Invitation to the Sponsor/Artists cocktail reception on January 24th
Verbal recognition during auction night
Your Company name on sign near artist’s painting location
Attendees will enjoy gourmet hors d’oeuvres while deciding which original paintings they will be bidding on during an exciting live auction. In addition, everyone will have the opportunity to join the silent auction activities of original artworks including paintings, sculptures, jewelry and pottery.
Each Marco Island Wet Paint Live sponsor is invited to attend a reception hosted by Jo-Ann Sanborn, Everglades Artist, on Thursday, January 24, 2013, 6:00 PM at her studio located at The Esplanade (760 N. Collier Boulevard, Until #102). During this reception you will have the opportunity to meet the participating artists and fellow sponsors, and learn about the details of this great event. (RSVP is required).
Please join Leadership Marco in making the 6th Annual Marco Island Wet Paint Live as successful as last year. We were able to raise over $9,000 in scholarship money for 9 area high school seniors. The artists, art patrons, and the community have all assisted in making this event a true success for the Leadership Marco Scholarship Fund.
