Leadership Marco and the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce invite local businesses to consider an affordable $50 sponsorship for the Eighth Annual Marco Island Wet Paint Live event, a day of fine art plein-air painting followed by an evening of celebration and live auction to benefit the Leadership Marco Scholarship Fund.
Marco Island serves as the backdrop for this Feb. 11 event, with up to 20artists capturing the essence of the island community while painting from several picturesque locations. The public is invited to visit the artists as they create their works around the area, and a map of artists and locations will be provided and published.
After completing their original paintings during the day, artists will bring their pieces to Rose History Auditorium at the Marco Island Historical Museum for display beginning at 5:30 PM, with the exciting live auction starting promptly at 7 PM.
As a business sponsor, a $50 donation includes: • Your company name on all newspaper and printed materials • Your company name on the sign near artist’s painting location • The ability to purchase two auction event tickets for $30 each • An invitation to the Sponsor and Artist cocktail reception hosted by JoAnn Sanborn at Sunshine Studios, 760 N. Collier Blvd., Unit #102, on Jan. 28 at 6 PM • Verbal recognition during the auction event

The artists, art patrons and community all assisted in making this event a true success for the Leadership Marco Scholarship Fund.
