The Republican Club of South Collier hosted a meet and greet with several of the candidates who advance to the November 3 General Election after being victorious in their 2020 Primary Election battles.
Among those in attendance were Byron Donalds who outpaced his challengers to emerge as the Republican candidate to fill the District 19 House Seat being left vacant by the retirement of Republican Francis Rooney who previously held that seat.
Also present was Bob Rommel, who has served in the Florida House of Representatives since 2016 from District 106.
Both Rommel and Donalds motivated the crowd to get out the vote in November to ensure they will be able to maintain the Presidency for Donald Trump.
Several local politicos would mingle with the crowd for the two-hour event.
The approximate 65 attendees would share their stories about past political battles and the ones to come, while enjoying appetizers provided by Mangos Dockside Bistro at the Esplanade Shops on Marco Island.
