The Everglades Society for Historic Preservation will host its second “Movie Night” this Friday, March 23. The film will feature two of the 38 segments from the TV program “The Everglades” which ran for one season, 1961-62. Ron Hayes stars as Constable Lincoln Vail, an Everglades “county patrol officer”, who travels by airboat to solve crimes. The series was produced by Budd Schulberg who made “Wind across the Everglades” several years earlier. In April the photographer, Brian Call, willbe exhibiting in the Pauline Reeves Gallery, and a reception to “Meet the Artist” will be held on Saturday, April 14, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The Museum is located at 105 W. Broadway and open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no admission charge but donations are welcome.
