Back by popular demand, the talent is taking the stage for the Second Annual Singin’ Broadway with all new songs and shows.
Sponsored by Clausen Properties, Inc., the Second Annual Singin’ Broadway is a special concert event featuring some of South Florida’s most talented singers, performing songs from your favorite Broadway musicals.
Talented performers include:
Carl Back, a Marco Island resident with an extensive theater career, who was last seen in ITC’s Production of “Annie Jr.” as Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks.
Michael Bombyk, who played Alphonse Frankenstein in ITC’s 2015 production of “Frankenstein: A New Musical.” He has sung with the Oratorio Society of Minnesota, the Naples Bach Ensemble, and the Naples Philharmonic Chorus.
Craig Greusel, a Marco resident, who performed as Don Quixote in “Man of La Mancha,” Barnum in “P.T. Barnum,” and Victor Frankenstein in ITC’s “Frankenstein: A New Musical.”
Alexa “Lexie” Harrington, who currently has the lead role in “The Pajama Game” at the Community School in Naples. Lexie sang the National Anthem at a Red Sox game and has been a member of the Naples Philharmonic.
Christine High is a Marco wife and mom who graced the stage in ITC’s “Frankenstein: A New Musical” in the original stage play and encore concert performance. She had the lead role in “Saga of Roaring Gulch.”
Eden Krumholz, a 14-year-old freshman at Lely High School, who attended the 2017 summer theatre camp and was one of two Annie’s in this season’s production of “Annie Jr.”
Mary Jo O’Regan grew up in Ireland, where she appeared on a TV talent show. Mary Jo and her husband write songs together and perform regularly in the Naples/Marco area. She also performs the National Anthem regularly for the Boston Red Sox.
Edie Pagoni-Sawtelle, who is a wife, mom, special needs advocate, and actress. Edie has performed in leading roles in “Chicago,” “Godspell,” “Grease,” “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” “Gypsy,” “Kennedy’s Children,” and “El Shaddai.”
Sandra Rose Rommell, a professional vocalist for over three decades, was a backup singer for Bruce Springsteen, did studio work for Celine Dion’s producers, appeared in Las Vegas with David Foster, and has had numerous appearances in Naples. She has been invited to sing the National Anthem and other songs for veterans in Collier and Lee counties.
Jean Rowles, one of the co-founder’s of ITC, has an extensive background of musical theater, both on the stage and behind the scenes. Her favorite roles include Marian the Librarian in “The Music Man” and a directing/performing stint in “Smokey Joe’s Café.”
Jared Wagner has performed in many musicals including “Hair Spray,” “Les Miserables,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Music Man.” His vocal talent was showcased in “Frankenstein: A New Musical” and “Saga of Roaring Gulch.” He was last seen in “Annie Jr.” as Rooster Hannigan.
Kate Whitson-Alves has been in shows such as “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Meet Me in St Louis,” “Guys and Dolls” and ITC’s “Frankenstein: A New Musical.” Kate was Grace in “Annie Jr.” last fall.
Abby Yetter has performed in over 45 shows with theaters across the country, holding the leading role in eleven of them, including Peter Pan, Annie, Oliver Twist and Cookie in Neil Simon’s “Rumors.” She played Miss Hannigan in ITC’s “Annie Jr.”
Rounding out the show is David Cortiza from Miami, Naples favorite Lisa Federico, John Davis on piano, and a special encore performance by the Backyard Company.
Singin’ Broadway will be performed at the Marco Lutheran Church, 525 N. Collier Blvd., Marco Island on February 23 and 24 at 7:30 PM and the matinee on Sunday, February 25 at 2:30 PM. Tickets are on sale at Centennial Bank on Elkcam Circle, online at theateronmarco.com, or by calling 239-394-0080.
