International Game Technology (NYSE:IGT) awarded $1,097,272.26 on a Wheel of Fortune® DoubleDiamond® slot machine to Connie B. of Naples, Fla.
IGT’s latest millionaire said that the Wheel of Fortune® DoubleDiamond® slot is the game she typically plays, and has won on it before, but never to the extent which she did on Saturday.
As the reels began to line up with Double Diamonds, the winner turned to her friend who was playing at a machine next to her and whispered “I think I won a million dollars,” a fact that her friend confirmed after seeing the lined up icons on the screen.
The winner shared this thrilling news with her two sons, but has yet to inform her husband who is finishing up a hunting trip out of state. She definitely brought home the bigger bounty. The latest millionaire has no immediate plans on how she will spend the jackpot winnings.
IGT has awarded about $6 billion in life-changing jackpots nationwide since 1986. For more information on IGT’s MegaJackpots® please visit IGT on Facebook at facebook.com/Megajackpots, or follow on Twitter, twitter.com/IGTnews. Join the conversation at #IGTBlue
