Seafood Fest Success

The Fifth Annual Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival was an astounding success. With a weekend of windy but cooperative weather, thousands came to enjoy the variety of food, arts and crafts and music.

The three local philanthropic clubs that organize Marco’s signature event everty year are the Sunrise Rotary Club, the Noontime Rotary Club and the Kiwanis Club.

The clubs are known for their impact on the community at large through constant charitable giving.

Together, the organizations raised $17,000 throught the Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival. But it could not have been done without the help of the many volunteers and especially the major sponsors.

Stan Niemczyk, said, “We want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors, they make this all possible.” This year’s major sponsors included: Seminole Casino, Waste Management, Physicians Regional Healthcare Systems, Mutual Bank of Omaha, Winn Dixie and Fresh from the Gulf Seafood.
