Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age

The Greater Marco Family YMCA, in cooperation with the David Lawrence Center, will host a showing of the documentary “Screenagers: Growing up in the Digital Age,” followed by a question and answer session, on Thursday, May 17 from 7-9 PM at the Marco Y Youth Development Center.

The documentary explores the struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through poignant, and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, “Screenagers reveals how tech time impacts kid’s development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.”

The event is free and is open to the public. The Greater Marco Family YMCA Youth Development Center is located at 101 Sandhill Street, Marco Island.
