On Friday, November 8th, agents and brokers from Re/Max Affinity Plus in Marco Island celebrated a Grand Opening at the Marco Walk Plaza with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony along with members of the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce. Re/Max agents, business associates and friends were on hand for the celebration. Rocky Farhat and Debra Meredith-Peters, broker/owners of Re/Max AffinityPlus were on hand to do the honors at this special commemoration.
Larry Caruso commented on the opening, “We’re very happy to be in this premiere location. Most of the Re/Max people are back together and we’ve added a number of agents as well.” When asked to comment on the outlook for the coming season, he said, “We look to continuing growth as themarket has definitely stabilized and will continue to move in the right direction. For buyers that are looking to get into the market, rates are still at all-time lows.” Two representatives from Re/Max International headquarters in Denver, Colorado made the trip to Marco Island to offer support during the opening.
The new location is state of the art and includes an internet café completewith flat screen TV’s and monitors with an open network. A coffee bar adds to the friendly atmosphere of the office.
Long-time supporters of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and having the familiar hot air balloon logo, Re/Max had scheduled to bring a genuine hot air balloon to the island for tethered rides in the evening. However, strong winds prevailed and the balloon will have to visit at a future date.
