It is quite obvious that we are in some trying times right now. There is a lot of uncertainty about the short-term future, and for many people, patience is running low. There is a need to appreciate some beauty around us.
I thought I would take some time and invite all of you to sit back, relax and take a look at some of the beauty that still surrounds us. Even though we humans are confined, the rest of the life around us continues on. It was that way yesterday, is still that way today and it will be here when we return to our daily routines.
While exercising some social distancing in recent weeks I was able to enjoy a few of our local birds going about their day-to-day chores. Among them were Roseate Spoonbills, a Glossy Ibis, a juvenile Little Blue Heron, some Great Egrets, a Tri-colored Heron, a Black-necked Stilt, and a Peregrine Falcon. Enjoy!
