Southwest Florida Museum of History and other cultural resources featured
The Southwest Florida Museum of History is featured as part of an 8-page spread titled “On the Trail of Florida’s Indian Heritage” in the Summer 2014 issue of American Archaeologymagazine. The article tours sites from Tampa Bay to Southwest Florida. In this region, the Southwest Florida Museum of History’s exhibits on life during the Paleolithic Age, the Calusa and the Seminole are highlighted. The author also makes stops at Mound House, Mound Key and the Randell Research Center.
