Participants in the Regatta come from all over the world and follow the 2012 International Sailing Federation Guidelines. This means that the model sailboats—and the participants controlling them—must follow the same rules as full-size racing sailing. This included not touching the buoys and rules of right-of-way.
Friday, March 1 will include a cocktail party after registration and a Skipper’s meeting. Saturday the racing begins, with a provided box lunch and a dinner party in the evening. Sunday will be the final race day, with awards presented late that afternoon.
Viewing the races is free to the public, and promising to be an entertaining way to spend an afternoon or two.
