The Marco Island Academy Rays girls and boys basketball teams faced the tough competitors of Southwest Florida Christian Academy (SFCA) on December 4.
The Lady Rays were defeated with a final score of 10-49. Mary Vale was the top scorer for the Rays with five points.
The competition continued to be fierce in the boys’ game. Both Johnny Watt and Kevin Barry each scored 13 points for the Rays, but it just wasn’t enough. The King’s kept the momentum and charged on with an 86-41 victory.
