Local author, speaker and creative consultant Randall Kenneth Jones has been tapped to join the popular Nice Guys on Business podcast later this month. Cofounders Doug Sandler and Strickland Bonner launched the Washington, DC based podcast in February 2015. The program is consistently a top-ranked business podcast on Overcast and was spotlighted as one of the Top 12 business leadership podcasts on by Inc. magazine.
Southwest Floridians know Jones from what he describes as “a very atypical media footprint.” He is recognized locally as a public speaker and emcee, a successful marketing and PR consultant, a business columnist and published author, and for his work as a comedic actor on various local stages.
“Relationships, honesty, trust and integrity build a business today—and that’s what the Nice Guys are all about,” explains Sandler. “Randy exemplifies all these attributes and more. His focus on conversation, positivity, insight and laughter is a perfect fit. Plus, because of his book, ‘Show Me,’ he seems to know everyone on the planet!”
Jones will appear in recurring “Show Me More” segments with interviews conducted specifically for the business-meets entertainment themed podcast. In addition to his established network of newsmakers and celebrities, Jones’ guests will include real people with surreal insight and will feature his signature blend of personal and professional development, real-world advice and whimsical anecdotes.
Jones’ first guest is Southwest Florida talk radio personality, WGUF’s Dave Elliott. Other scheduled guests are Southwest Florida’s Carey Ralston, CEO of Hallway Stories, and Susan C. Bennett, the original voice of Apple’s Siri. All Nice Guys on Business podcasts are available for download on iTunes.
