Punt, Pass & Kick Competition

The 9th Annual Punt, Pass and Kick Competition (PPK) got underway at Mackle Park just after some heavy rain hit Marco Island on Tuesday, September 15. The sun overpowered the low level clouds just in time

for participants to get registered and do some warm-ups.

NFL PPK is a nationwide competition, which allows boys and girls, ages 6-15, to learn football fundamentals and compete in a supportive, non-contact environment. Winners of this local event will

 

 

advance to the sectional competition. It is one of the oldest NFL youth activities, attracting almost 5 million participants nationwide.

culminating in a final overall score for each person. Boy and girls compete separately and ages are broken down into five categories.

Congratulations to all the participants, and many thanks to the volunteers who helped make this year’s event
