The Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has opened a 30-day public comment period for review of the FY 2010/11-2011/12 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) Amendment and De-Obligation. The UPWP is the biennial budgetary document for the MPO’s operations and programs. The UPWP also lists the funding source(s) for each planning task and specifies whether the task will be conducted by MPO staff, consultants or county agencies. This amendment to the UPWP is required for staff to make changes to the task schedules, budgets and time frames to match current and projected efforts. Some projects will carry-forward from this UPWP to the new UPWP which will take effect on July 1, 2012. Funds for these carry-forward projects must be de-obligated.
Any person requiring special accommodations at any MPO Board meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should also contact Ms. Lorraine Lantz, MPO Principal Planner, up to 72 hours prior to the meeting. For more information, call Ms. Lucilla Ayer, MPO executive director, at 239-252-8192.
