Public Comment Period Announced

 

 

The Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is announcing a public comment 45-Day Public Comment Period for revisions to the Public Involvement Plan (PIP).  The PIP identifies the process by which the public will have full access and participation in the MPO’s planning activities.

The public comment period will end on December 8, 2016.  The MPO Board will consider adoption of the PIP and comments received from the comment period as part of their meeting on Friday, December 9 at 9 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers on the third floor of the Collier County Government Center, 3299 Tamiami Trail East, Naples.

The revision to the PIP will be available on the MPO website at www.colliermpo.net.  To access the TDSP scroll down to “Latest News” and select the link titled “MPO Announces 45-day Public Comment Period for the Public Involvement Plan.”  The plan will also be on display at the customer service desks at the sites listed below:

The MPO’s planning process is conducted in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Related Statutes.  Any person or beneficiary who believes that he or she has been discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or familial status may file a complaint with Collier MPO by calling Ms. Anne McLaughlin, MPO Executive Director, at 239-252-8192 or by writing to her at 2885 S. Horseshoe Drive, Naples, Florida 34102.
