On January 18 the San Marco Catholic Church will host the Second Annual Dinner to benefit Providence House, a non-profit organization located in Naples, Florida. Providence House offers homeless women with young children the chance to create a solid foundation for a more secure future.
In the United States, single women with young children represent the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. Providence House’s mission is to help poor, single working women with young children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless create a better quality of life through a supportive transitional housing and self-sufficiency program.
The fundraiser will take place on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 6 PM at the San Marco Catholic Church parish center, 851 San Marco Road, Marco Island. Tickets for the dinner are $25 per person, and a cash bar will be available. One hundred percent of ticket sales will benefit Providence House. Tickets may be purchased at the San Marco Catholic Church parish office, or from Joe Granda 239-389-2823, Tom Walton 239-821-7557 or Mary Ann Hansen 239-394-2864. By reservation only, it is recommended that tickets be purchased early, as the event will sell out.
