The artist reception hosted by the Friends of the Museum of the Everglades, which is free and open to the public, will be held Saturday, October 4th, 2014 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. in the Pauline Reeves Gallery at the Museum of the Everglades.
Located in historic Everglades City, three milesSouth of U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) and SR 29, the museum explores an in-depth look at over 2,000 years of human history in the area and tells the story of adventurers stubborn enough to settle Southwest Florida’s lush “River of Grass”.
