In its thirty-fourth year, the Marco Players are getting ready to tread the boards for another group of delightful shows to entertain and delight audiences. The season will open with Neil Simon’s hit comedy, “Come Blow your Horn” that will run from November 3 to November 21. “Come Blow your Horn” was the first of Simon’s plays to be written and opened, in 1961. The comedy progresses around the antics of two brothers living together in New York in the 1960s.
Auditions for the second of the up-coming season’s productions, Edward Albee’s Seascape, took place on September 14 and 15. The play will run from January 5 through January 23. The following production will be Take Five, by Michael Hennessey, which will run from February 9 through the 27; and the fourth offering of the season, “Baggage” by Sam Bobrick, will be performed from March 16 through April 3.
