Patrice and I talked about comedy and his ideas on what makes a comedian successful. “First of all, O’Neal states, you haveto have a dream and act on your dreams.” “I have a desire to make people laugh and discovered I could do that at the age of 8.” “Comedy is a business of fun and in coming to Marc Island, my job is to look for a bond with the audience and let the audience trust you.” “My humor is topical, more emotional and more fulfilling; gaining that trust is what it is’s all about”. When asked about future plans for radio, TV or movies, Patrice stated” I want to do it all and with everyone having a good time.”
Patrice O’Neal is available on Facebook, My Space, and many You Tube Videos of his performances but it’s always best to see him live.
