Join the Marco YMCA and Our Daily Bread Food Pantry for a free lunch on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Marco Lutheran Church at 525 N. Collier Boulevard. This is a collaboration between the Marco Island YMCA and Our Daily Bread Food Pantry and co-sponsored by the Marco Lutheran Church.

The luncheon for June 19th will be provided by Italian Deli. With the support of local restaurants, businesses and sponsors, a luncheon (free of charge) is open to all area residents “60 or better.” Each monthly event includes a time for networking, lunch, a program, and door prizes. We also offer rides to and from. Thanks to JW Marriott, our May’s luncheon sponsor where we welcomed 120 guests.

The June 19th luncheon will begin at 11 AM at the Marco Lutheran Church. Local artist, Barbara Parisi will guide us through the techniques of the art of folding origami. According to Japanese legend, if you fold 1,000 origami cranes, you will be granted one wish! The mythical origami crane is believed to live for a thousand years and it is also a symbol of hope and healing.

RSVP to Nancy Kot by phone: 706-566-8532 or email: lunchwithfriendsmarco@gmail.com. If you need a ride, it can be provided.
