

He was the son of the late Cecil and Katherine Marlowe and was born in New Haven, Ct. on September 29, 1924. He was a member of the first graduating class of Fairfield Preparatory School, Fairfield, Ct. in 1943. He served in the United States Army Air Force from 1943 until October, 1945.
Marlowe was a graduate of St. Thomas Seminary, Hartford, Ct. and Christ The King Seminary, St. Bonaventure University, Olean, NY. Mr. Marlowe started The Woodbridge Agency in 1950. He ran the company with his brother, Robert, until his retirement in 1995.
He retired to Marco Island with his wife, the former Jane Angell, where he resided until his death. He was an active member of San Marco Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, having joined the first Council, San Salvador, in New Haven, Ct. in 1943.
Mr. Marlowe is survived by his wife, Jane, his children, Patrice Marlowe, Kevin and Justine Marlowe O’Neill of Branford and his son, John Marlowe and his fiancee, Stacy Harris, of Huntersville, North Carolina. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Ryan Griffeth and his fiancee, Melissa Ringer, Caitlin, Matthew and Daniel O’Neill, all of Branford, Ct. He was predeceased by his son, Paul B. Marlowe, Jr.
Funeral and interment services will be held in Ct next week. A Memorial Mass will be planned at a later date at San Marco Catholic Church, Marco Island.
