P.E.O. Chapter GT, Marco Island, established a memorial scholarship honoring Marg (Margaret) Mead. Her husband, Wayne, initiated this through a loving annual donation to Chapter GT, dedicated to a local woman studying in the nursing field. Marg Mead graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids and the Army Hospital in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
